Auto Anything – eCommerce Platform

My Role

UX Lead at Sapient Razorfish, responsible for adapting the selected platform’s templates to AutoAnything’s brand and product catalog.

Problem

AutoAnything’s eCommerce platform was outdated relative to the sites their customers used elsewhere, and it wasn’t responsive — a real liability as more shopping moved to mobile.

Research

I ran a competitive analysis of the automotive eCommerce space to understand where AutoAnything had fallen behind, conducted generative interviews with customers, and met with AutoAnything’s stakeholders across the business before turning any of it into design recommendations.

Solution

Razorfish was brought in to move AutoAnything onto a modern eCommerce platform. As UX Lead, I was responsible for adapting the platform’s existing page templates to fit AutoAnything’s brand and product catalog, incorporating what I’d learned from the competitive analysis and customer research into how those templates were configured.

Outcomes

AutoAnything saw an increase in overall traffic and time onsite as more users had a positive experience using the site on mobile devices.
